    Our uplift prevention clips are intended for use in drop ceiling applications when air pressure changes or wind may cause tile movement. Clips are placed on the back of the suspended ceiling grid, so that the arms on either side of the clip are situated just above the ceiling panel, on either side of the T-bar.

    To prevent uplift, use 1 or 2 clips per tile in the affected area of the ceiling, typically near the doorway where the pressure change occurs. The clips are made of steel so will not easily break and since they are above the level of the grid, they will not be seen from the floor. If clips are used in applications in which panels are located beneath fire suppression sprinklers, the clips must not impede the panel's ability to release and fall from the grid in the event of a fire.

    Good idea

    These clips are a good idea and were easy to clip in place over the grid. Only reason for low stars is that the bag was around $25--a buck a clip. I didn't shop it and after purchasing these along with the tiles, I found the same thing at a box store when I was buying the grid for about $5 a bag that would have worked just fine. So felt a little taken advantage of.....but of course was not forced to buy them I just should have shopped around.
